4. Epidermis

The integument consists of the skin (epidermis and der-mis) and associated appendages (sweat glands, sebaceous glands, hairs, and nails). Considered the largest body organ, the integument comprises approximately 16 % of total body weight. It is a highly specialized organ that functions to protect the body from injury, desiccation, and infection. It also participates in sensory reception, excretion, thermoregulation, and maintenance of water balance.

Epidermis is the outermost layer of the integument. It is astratified squamous epithelial layer of ectodermal origin.

Layers of the epidermis from deep to superficial consist of four strata. Stratum basale (stratum germinativum) is a proliferative basal layer of columnar-like cells that contain the fibrous protein keratin. Stratum spinosum is a multilaminar layer of cuboidal-like cells that are bound together by means of numerous cytoplasmic extensions and desmosomal junctions.

Stratum granulosum consists of flat polygonal cells filled with basophilic keratohyalin granules. Viewed at the electron microscopic level, these cells also contain numerous mem brane-coating granules. Stratum corneum is the superficial stratum of dead cells and consists of several to many layers of flat, anucleated, and cornified (kera-tinized) cells. In the epidermis of the palms and soles, a thin, transitional zone of flat eosinophilic or pale-staining anucleated cells may occur as the stratum lucidum. This layer is found only in regions with a thick strata cor-neum.

Cells of the epidermis: keratinocytes are the most numerous and are responsible for the production of the family of keratin proteins that provide the barrier function of the epidermis.

Melanocytes are derivatives of neural crest ectoderm. They are found in the dermis and are also scattered among the keratinocytes in the basal layers of the epidermis. These dendritic cells produce the pigment melanin in the form melanosomes that are transferred to keratinocytes.

Langerhans cells are dendritic cells but are members of the immune system and function as antigen-presenting cells. They have also been found in other parts of the body, including the oral cavity and lymph nodes.

Merkel cells are found in the basal epidermis and appear function in concert with nerve fibers that are closely associated with them. At the electron microscopic level, their cytoplasm contains numerous membrane-bound granules that resemble those of catecholamine-produ-cing cells.

Ðîäèòåëè ÷àñòî èñïîëüçóþò ãàäæåòû, ÷òîáû óñïîêîèòü ìàëûøà èëè çàíÿòü åãî íà âðåìÿ, îäíàêî ó÷åíûå âñå ÷àùå çàäàþòñÿ âîïðîñîì, êàê ýêðàííîå âðåìÿ ñêàçûâàåòñÿ íà ðàçâèòèè ìîçãà è áóäóùåé ñïîñîáíîñòè ê îáó÷åíèþ. Ó äåòåé, ìíîãî âðåìåíè ïðîâîäèâøèõ ïåðåä ýêðàíàìè â ýòè âîçðàñòíûå òî÷êè, â 9 ëåò áûëè íåñêîëüêî õóæå óñïåõè â îáó÷åíèè, à â 10,5 ëåò õóæå ðàáîòàëà ðàáî÷àÿ ïàìÿòü - ñïîñîáíîñòü óäåðæèâàòü è îáðàáàòûâàòü èíôîðìàöèþ çäåñü è ñåé÷àñ. Óìíûå æèëåòû, ñïàñàþùèå îò æàðû 01.08.2026

Ëåòíÿÿ æàðà â áîëüøèõ ãîðîäàõ âñå ÷àùå ñòàíîâèòñÿ ñåðüåçíûì èñïûòàíèåì äëÿ ëþäåé, ðàáîòàþùèõ íà îòêðûòîì âîçäóõå. Ìóñîðùèêè, ñòðîèòåëè è äðóãèå ñïåöèàëèñòû âûíóæäåíû ïðîâîäèòü ÷àñû ïîä ïàëÿùèì ñîëíöåì, ðèñêóÿ ïåðåãðåâîì. Ó êîìïàíèè óæå åñòü ïðåäâàðèòåëüíûå äîãîâîðåííîñòè ñ ïðèáðåæíûìè ãîðîäàìè è ãîðíûìè ðåãèîíàìè, êîòîðûå ðàññìàòðèâàþò âîçìîæíîñòü èñïîëüçîâàíèÿ ýòîé òåõíîëîãèè äëÿ óäîâëåòâîðåíèÿ ñîáñòâåííûõ ýíåðãåòè÷åñêèõ ïîòðåáíîñòåé. Ñëó÷àéíàÿ íîâîñòü èç Àðõèâà

ßäåðíûå ðåàêòîðû SMR äëÿ ÖÎÄ ìîùíîñòüþ áîëåå 1 ÃÂò 21.09.2024

Êîìïàíèÿ Oracle äåëàåò î÷åðåäíîé øàã â ñòîðîíó ÿäåðíîé ýíåðãåòèêè, ïëàíèðóÿ èñïîëüçîâàòü íåáîëüøèå ìîäóëüíûå ðåàêòîðû (SMR) äëÿ ïèòàíèÿ ñâîèõ öåíòðîâ îáðàáîòêè äàííûõ (ÖÎÄ), â òîì ÷èñëå ìîùíîñòüþ áîëåå 1 ãèãàâàòòà. Ýòîò ïðîåêò ÿâëÿåòñÿ ÷àñòüþ ñòðàòåãèè êîìïàíèè ïî ðàñøèðåíèþ èíôðàñòðóêòóðû äëÿ ïîääåðæêè èñêóññòâåííîãî èíòåëëåêòà è îáëà÷íûõ òåõíîëîãèé.

Âî âðåìÿ ïîñëåäíåãî ôèíàíñîâîãî îò÷åòà Ëàððè Ýëëèñîí, ãëàâà è òåõíè÷åñêèé äèðåêòîð Oracle, ñîîáùèë î íàìåðåíèè êîìïàíèè ïîñòðîèòü òðè íåáîëüøèõ ÿäåðíûõ ðåàêòîðà äëÿ îáåñïå÷åíèÿ ýëåêòðîñíàáæåíèÿ ÖÎÄ. Ýòè ðåàêòîðû ïðåäñòàâëÿþò ñîáîé ìèíèàòþðíûå âåðñèè îáû÷íûõ ÿäåðíûõ óñòàíîâîê, êîòîðûå îòëè÷àþòñÿ âûñîêîé ýêîíîìè÷íîñòüþ è ìåíüøèìè çàòðàòàìè íà ñîïóòñòâóþùóþ èíôðàñòðóêòóðó. SMR îáåùàþò ñòàòü ìåíåå çàòðàòíûìè â ýêñïëóàòàöèè è ñïîñîáíû ïðîèçâîäèòü äåñÿòêè, à â íåêîòîðûõ ñëó÷àÿõ - ñîòíè ìåãàâàòò ýëåêòðîýíåðãèè.

Ïëàíû Oracle âêëþ÷àþò ðàçâåðòûâàíèå öåíòðîâ îáðàáîòêè äàííûõ îãðîìíîé ìîùíîñòè. Íà äàííûé ìîìåíò êîìïàíèÿ óïðàâëÿåò 162 îáëà÷íûìè öåíòðàìè ïî âñåìó ìèðó. Âåäóùèå èç ýòèõ ÖÎÄ óæå äîñòèãàþò ìîùíîñòåé äî 800 ìåãàâàòò, ïîääåðæèâàÿ ðàáîòó îãðîìíûõ êëàñòåðîâ ãðàôè÷åñêèõ ïðîöåññîðîâ (GPU) îò NVIDIA, êîòîðûå íåîáõîäèìû äëÿ îáó÷åíèÿ è ïîääåðæêè ìîäåëåé èñêóññòâåííîãî èíòåëëåêòà.  áóäóùåì Oracle íàìåðåíà ñòðîèòü åùå áîëåå ìîùíûå îáúåêòû - ñâûøå 1 ãèãàâàòòà.

Îäíàêî òåõíîëîãèÿ SMR ïîêà íå ïðîøëà ïðîâåðêó âðåìåíåì è íå âñòóïèëà â øèðîêóþ ýêñïëóàòàöèþ. Õîòÿ ïèëîòíûå ïðîåêòû ïîêàçàëè ïåðñïåêòèâû, íè îäèí ðåàêòîð òàêîãî òèïà åùå íå çàïóùåí â êîììåð÷åñêóþ ýêñïëóàòàöèþ. Êðèòèêè òåõíîëîãèè óòâåðæäàþò, ÷òî SMR îñòàþòñÿ äîðîãèìè, ìåäëåííûìè â ðàçðàáîòêå è èìåþò âûñîêèå ðèñêè, ÷òî ìîæåò çàòðóäíèòü èõ øèðîêîå ïðèìåíåíèå â ýíåðãåòè÷åñêîé îòðàñëè.  ÷àñòíîñòè, àìåðèêàíñêèé Èíñòèòóò ýêîíîìèêè ýíåðãåòèêè è ôèíàíñîâîãî àíàëèçà â 2023 ãîäó çàÿâèë, ÷òî SMR ïîêà íå ãîòîâû ê ìàñøòàáíîìó âíåäðåíèþ.

Òåì íå ìåíåå, èíòåðåñ ê ÿäåðíîé ýíåðãåòèêå, âêëþ÷àÿ òåõíîëîãèè SMR, íå óãàñàåò. Êðóïíûå òåõíîëîãè÷åñêèå êîìïàíèè âèäÿò â íèõ ïåðñïåêòèâû êàê íàäåæíîãî èñòî÷íèêà ýíåðãèè äëÿ ñâîèõ äàòà-öåíòðîâ. Íàïðèìåð, Amazon óæå èíâåñòèðîâàëà $650 ìèëëèîíîâ â öåíòð îáðàáîòêè äàííûõ Cumulus, íàõîäÿùèéñÿ ðÿäîì ñ ÀÝÑ Susquehanna ìîùíîñòüþ 2,5 ÃÂò, ÷òî îáåñïå÷èëî îáëà÷íîìó ãèãàíòó äîñòóï ê 960 ìåãàâàòòàì ìîùíîñòè.

Microsoft òàêæå àêòèâíî èçó÷àåò ïîòåíöèàë ÿäåðíûõ òåõíîëîãèé. Êîìïàíèÿ íàíÿëà ýêñïåðòîâ äëÿ ìîíèòîðèíãà è àíàëèçà ðàçâèòèÿ òåõíîëîãèé SMR, ðàññìàòðèâàÿ èõ êàê âàðèàíò äëÿ îáåñïå÷åíèÿ óñòîé÷èâîãî ýíåðãîñíàáæåíèÿ ñâîèõ îáúåêòîâ.

Ïëàíû Oracle ïî ñîçäàíèþ ãèãàâàòòíûõ öåíòðîâ îáðàáîòêè äàííûõ è ïðèìåíåíèþ SMR íå ïðåäïîëàãàþò áûñòðîãî èñïîëíåíèÿ. Ïî ñëîâàì ðóêîâîäñòâà êîìïàíèè, ïîëíîöåííîå âíåäðåíèå ýòèõ ðåøåíèé îæèäàåòñÿ íå ðàíüøå íà÷àëà 2030-õ ãîäîâ. Îäíàêî ýòî ìîæåò ñòàòü âàæíûì øàãîì â ðàçâèòèè íîâûõ òåõíîëîãèé, êîòîðûå ïîìîãóò ðåøèòü ïðîáëåìó ýíåðãîåìêîñòè â ýïîõó èñêóññòâåííîãî èíòåëëåêòà è áîëüøèõ äàííûõ.

Íåñìîòðÿ íà âñå ñëîæíîñòè, SMR îñòàþòñÿ ïåðñïåêòèâíîé òåõíîëîãèåé, êîòîðàÿ ìîæåò èçìåíèòü ïîäõîä ê ýíåðãîîáåñïå÷åíèþ â ÈÒ-èíäóñòðèè. Èõ èñïîëüçîâàíèå â öåíòðàõ îáðàáîòêè äàííûõ ìîæåò ñòàòü íîâûì ñòàíäàðòîì äëÿ óñòîé÷èâîãî ðàçâèòèÿ îáëà÷íûõ òåõíîëîãèé, à òàêæå ïîìîæåò ñíèçèòü óãëåðîäíûé ñëåä êðóïíûõ òåõíîëîãè÷åñêèõ êîìïàíèé.
