10. Skeleton

The bones of our body make up a skeleton. The skeleton forms about 18 % of the weight of the human body.

The skeleton of the trunk mainly consists of spinal column made of a number of bony segments called vertebrae to which the head, the thoracic cavity and the pelvic bones are connected. The spinal column consists of 26 spinal column bones.

The human vertebrae are divided into differentiated groups. The seven most superior of them are the vertebrae called the cervical vertebrae. The first cervical vertebra is the atlas. The second vertebra is called the axis.

Inferior to the cervical vertebrae are twelve thoracic vertebrae. There is one rib connected to each thoracic vertebrae, making 12 pairs of ribs. Most of the rib pairs come together ventrally and join a flat bone called the sternum.

The first pairs or ribs are short. All seven pairs join the sternum directly and are sometimes called the "true ribs". Pairs 8, 9, 10 are "false ribs". The eleventh and twelfth pairs of ribs are the "floating ribs".

Inferior to the thoracic vertebrae are five lumbar vertebrae. The lumbar vertebrae are the largest and the heaviest of the spinal column. Inferior to the lumbar vertebrae are five sacral vertebrae forming a strong bone in adults. The most inferior group of vertebrae are four small vertebrae forming together the ñîññóæ.

The vertebral column is not made up of bone alone. It also has cartilages.

Íåäàâíèå ýêñïåðèìåíòû àìåðèêàíñêèõ èññëåäîâàòåëåé îòêðûâàþò íîâûå ãîðèçîíòû: âïåðâûå óäàëîñü íàáëþäàòü ìèêðîñêîïè÷åñêèå èçìåíåíèÿ â êîíòàêòíîé çîíå ðàçëîìîâ, êîòîðûå ïðåäøåñòâóþò çåìëåòðÿñåíèþ. Ãðóïïà ïîä ðóêîâîäñòâîì Ñèëüâåíà Áàðáîòà îáíàðóæèëà, ÷òî "ðåàëüíàÿ ïëîùàäü êîíòàêòà" - ó÷àñòêè, ãäå ïîâåðõíîñòè ðàçëîìà äåéñòâèòåëüíî ñîïðèêàñàþòñÿ - èçìåíÿåòñÿ çà ìèëëèñåêóíäû äî âûñâîáîæäåíèÿ íàêîïëåííîé ýíåðãèè. "Ìû îòêðûëè îêíî â ñåðäöå ìåõàíèêè çåìëåòðÿñåíèé", - îòìå÷àåò Áàðáîò. Ýòè èçìåíåíèÿ ïîçâîëÿþò ôèêñèðîâàòü ýòàïû çàðîæäåíèÿ ñåéñìè÷åñêîãî ñîáûòèÿ åùå äî ïîÿâëåíèÿ òðàäèöèîííûõ ñåéñìè÷åñêèõ âîëí. Ìóçûêà êàê åñòåñòâåííûé àíàëüãåòèê 30.11.2025

Ó÷åíûå âñå àêòèâíåå èññëåäóþò íåìåäèêàìåíòîçíûå ñïîñîáû îáëåã÷åíèÿ áîëè. Îäíèì èç ïåðñïåêòèâíûõ íàïðàâëåíèé ñòàíîâèòñÿ èñïîëüçîâàíèå ìóçûêè, êîòîðàÿ ñïîñîáíà âîçäåéñòâîâàòü íà ýìîöèîíàëüíîå ñîñòîÿíèå è êîãíèòèâíîå âîñïðèÿòèå áîëè. Óæå ïîñëå ýòîé êîðîòêîé ñåññèè âðà÷è ôèêñèðîâàëè çàìåòíîå óìåíüøåíèå èíòåíñèâíîñòè áîëè êàê â ñîñòîÿíèè ïîêîÿ, òàê è ïðè äâèæåíèÿõ. Àâòîðû èññëåäîâàíèÿ ïîä÷åðêèâàþò, ÷òî ìóçûêà íå óñòðàíÿåò ñàìó ïðè÷èíó áîëè. Àëêîãîëü ìîæåò ïðèâåñòè ê ñëîáîóìèþ 29.11.2025

Ïðîáëåìà âëèÿíèÿ àëêîãîëÿ íà ñòàðåþùèé ìîçã äàâíî âûçûâàåò èíòåðåñ êàê ó âðà÷åé, òàê è ó èññëåäîâàòåëåé êîãíèòèâíîãî ñòàðåíèÿ.  ïîñëåäíèå ãîäû ñòàëî î÷åâèäíî, ÷òî ãðàíèöû "áåçîïàñíîãî" óïîòðåáëåíèÿ ñïèðòíîãî ðàçìûâàþòñÿ, è íîâîå êðóïíîå èññëåäîâàíèå, ïðîâåäåííîå ìåæäóíàðîäíîé ãðóïïîé ó÷åíûõ, âíîâü óêàçûâàåò íà ýòî. Ðàáîòû Îêñôîðäñêîãî óíèâåðñèòåòà, âûïîëíåííûå ñîâìåñòíî ñ èññëåäîâàòåëÿìè èç Éåëüñêîãî è Êåìáðèäæñêîãî óíèâåðñèòåòîâ, ïîêàçûâàþò: äàæå íåáîëüøèå äîçû àëêîãîëÿ ñïîñîáíû óñêîðÿòü êîãíèòèâíûé ñïàä. Êîìàíäà ïðîàíàëèçèðîâàëà äàííûå áîëåå ÷åì 500 òûñÿ÷ ó÷àñòíèêîâ èç áðèòàíñêîãî áèîáàíêà è àìåðèêàíñêîé Ïðîãðàììû ìèëëèîíîâ âåòåðàíîâ. Äîïîëíèòåëüíî áûë âûïîëíåí ìåòààíàëèç ñîðîêà ïÿòè èññëåäîâàíèé, â îáùåé ñëîæíîñòè âêëþ÷àâøèõ ñâåäåíèÿ î 2,4 ìèëëèîíà ÷åëîâåê. Ñëó÷àéíàÿ íîâîñòü èç Àðõèâà

Íàâèãàöèîííûé ìîäóëü TESEO-LIV3F 20.10.2017

Êîìïàíèÿ STMicroelectronics çàïóñêàåò â ïðîèçâîäñòâî ñâîé ïåðâûé íàâèãàöèîííûé GNSS-ìîäóëü TESEO-LIV3F. Ìîäóëü ïîñòðîåí íà ñîáñòâåííîì ÷èïñåòå è ïîçâîëÿåò îïðåäåëÿòü ìåñòîïîëîæåíèå îáúåêòà ñ âûñîêîé òî÷íîñòüþ - äî 1,5 ì (CEP). Ìîäóëü ðàáîòàåò ïðàêòè÷åñêè ñî âñåìè äîñòóïíûìè íà ñåãîäíÿøíèé äåíü ñïóòíèêîâûìè ãðóïïèðîâêàìè (GPS, Galileo, Glonass, BeiDou, QZSS). Áëàãîäàðÿ íàëè÷èþ âñòðîåííîé ôëåø-ïàìÿòè áîëüøîãî îáúåìà, ìîäóëü ìîæåò âûñòóïàòü â êà÷åñòâå äàòà-ëîããåðà.

TESEO-LIV3F âûäàåò ñòàíäàðòíûå NMEA-ñîîáùåíèÿ. Êîíêðåòíûé íàáîð âûäàâàåìûõ ñòðîê ìîæåò áûòü èçìåíåí ïîëüçîâàòåëåì ñ ïîìîùüþ óïðàâëÿþùèõ êîìàíä. Ðàçðàáîò÷èê òàêæå ìîæåò èçìåíÿòü è äðóãèå ïàðàìåòðû FW ìîäóëÿ, èñõîäÿ èç ñâîåé ñõåìû âêëþ÷åíèÿ è òðåáóåìîé ôóíêöèîíàëüíîñòè.

Ìîäóëü èìååò âñòðîåííóþ ôóíêöèþ êîíòðîëÿ âûõîäà çà îïðåäåëåííûå ãðàíèöû (Geofencing). Ïðè ïåðåìåùåíèè ìîäóëÿ èç çàäàííîé ïîëüçîâàòåëåì îáëàñòè, TESEO-LIV3F àâòîìàòè÷åñêè ñîîáùèò îá ýòîì â NMEA-ñîîáùåíèè. Ñïåöèàëüíûé âñòðîåííûé ìåõàíèçì ST-AGNSS ïîçâîëÿåò ïðîèçâîäèòü áûñòðûé ñòàðò â ñëó÷àå îòñóòñòâèÿ ñèãíàëîâ ñïóòíèêîâ äî 14 äíåé. Äëÿ çàãðóçêè íåîáõîäèìîé èíôîðìàöèè ÷åðåç Èíòåðíåò èñïîëüçóåòñÿ òåõíîëîãèÿ GPStream êîìïàíèè RxNetworks.

Ìèíèàòþðíûé GNSS-ìîäóëü èìååò ðàçìåðû 9,7 õ 10,1 õ 2,5 ìì. Ìîäóëü ðàáîòàåò îò íàïðÿæåíèÿ ïèòàíèÿ 2,1 - 4,3 Â, ïðè ýòîì ìîæíî èñïîëüçîâàòü ðàçäåëüíîå ïèòàíèÿ äëÿ îñíîâíîé ÷àñòè è äëÿ èíòåðôåéñà. Äëÿ êîììóíèêàöèè ñ õîñòîì âûñòóïàþò âûñòóïàþò èíòåðôåéñû UART è I2C. Ìîäóëü ïîääåðæèâàåò ïðîòîêîëû NMEA 0183 Version 4.0 è RTCM Version 2.3
