21. Hematopoietic tissue. Erythropoiesis
Hematopoietic tissue is composed of reticular fibers and cells, blood vessels, and sinusoids (thin-walled blood channels). Myeloid, or blood cell-forming tissue, is found in the bone marrow and provides the stem cells that develop into erythrocytes, granulocytes, agranulocytes, and platelets. Red marrow is characterized by active hemato-poiesis; yellow bone marrow is inactive and contains mostly fat cells. In the human adult, hematopoiesis takes place in the mar row of the flat bones of the skull, ribs and sternum, the vertebral column, the pelvis, and the proximal ends of some long bones. Erythropoiesis is the process of RBC formation. Bone marrow stem cells (colony-forming units, CFUs) differentiate into proerythroblasts under the influence of the glycoprotein erythropoietin, which is produced by the kidney.
Proerythroblast is a large basophilic cell containing a large spherical euchromatic nucleus with prominent nucleoli.
Basophilic erythroblast is a strongly basophilic cell with nucleus that comprises approximately 75 % of its mass. Numerous cytoplasmic polyribosomes, condensed chro-matin, no visible nucleoli, and continued hemoglobin synthesis characteristics of this cell.
Polychromatophilic erythroblast is the last cell in this line undergoes mitotic divisions. Its nucleus comprises approximately 50 % of its mass and contains condensed chroma-tin which appears in a "checkerboard" pattern. The po-lychnsia of the cytoplasm is due to the increased quantity of acidophilic hemoglobin combined with the basophilia of cytoplasmic polyribosomes.
Normoblast (orthochromatophilic erythroblast) is a cell with a small heterochromatic nucleus that comprises ap proximately 25 % of its mass. It contains acidophilic cytoplasm because the large amount of hemoglobin and degenerating organelles. The pyknotic nucleus, which is no longer capable of division, is extruded from the cell.
Reticulocyte (polychromatophilic erythrocyte) is an immature acidophilic denucleated RBC, which still contains some ribosomes and mitochondria involved in the synthesis of a small quantity of hemoglobin. Approximately 1 % of the circulating RBCs are reticulocytes.
Erythrocyte is the mature acidophilic and denucleated RBC. Erythrocytes remain in the circulation approximately 120 days and are then recycled by the spleen, liver, and bone marrow.

Æèâîòíîâîäñòâî, îñîáåííî ðàçâåäåíèå êðóïíîãî ðîãàòîãî ñêîòà, ÷àñòî îáâèíÿþò â çíà÷èòåëüíîì âêëàäå â ãëîáàëüíîå ïîòåïëåíèå èç-çà ìîùíîãî ïàðíèêîâîãî ãàçà - ìåòàíà, êîòîðûé âûäåëÿåòñÿ ïðè ïèùåâàðåíèè ó æâà÷íûõ æèâîòíûõ. Ýòî âûçûâàåò îñòðûå ïîëèòè÷åñêèå ñïîðû è ïðèçûâû ê ñîêðàùåíèþ ïîòðåáëåíèÿ ìÿñà. Îäíàêî ó÷åíûå íàïîìèíàþò, ÷òî ïîëíàÿ êàðòèíà êëèìàòè÷åñêîãî âîçäåéñòâèÿ îòðàñëè íå îãðàíè÷èâàåòñÿ òîëüêî âûáðîñàìè îò æèâîòíûõ: îãðîìíóþ ðîëü èãðàåò îêðóæàþùàÿ ýêîñèñòåìà - ïàñòáèùà, ïî÷âà è ðàñòèòåëüíîñòü, êîòîðûå ñïîñîáíû àêòèâíî ïîãëîùàòü óãëåêèñëûé ãàç èç àòìîñôåðû.
Èññëåäîâàòåëè èç Óíèâåðñèòåòà Íåáðàñêè-Ëèíêîëüíà ðåøèëè ãëóáæå èçó÷èòü ýòîò áàëàíñ. Ãðóïïà ïîä ðóêîâîäñòâîì ïðîôåññîðà Ãàëåíà Ýðèêñîíà ñîñðåäîòî÷èëàñü íà òîì, êàê ïðàâèëüíî îðãàíèçîâàííûå ïàñòáèùà íàêàïëèâàþò óãëåðîä â ðàñòåíèÿõ è ãðóíòå áëàãîäàðÿ åñòåñòâåííûì ïðîöåññàì, ñòèìóëèðóåìûì âûïàñîì ñêîòà. NASA òåñòèðóåò èííîâàöèîííóþ òåõíîëîãèþ êðûëà

Êîììåð÷åñêàÿ àâèàöèÿ åæåãîäíî ðàñõîäóåò êîëîññàëüíûå îáúåìû êåðîñèíà, ÷òî ñêàçûâàåòñÿ íå òîëüêî íà áþäæåòå àâèàêîìïàíèé, íî è íà ñîñòîÿíèè îêðóæàþùåé ñðåäû.  2024 ãîäó ãëîáàëüíûå çàòðàòû íà àâèàöèîííîå òîïëèâî äîñòèãëè 291 ìèëëèàðäà äîëëàðîâ, è ýòà ñóììà ïðîäîëæàåò ðàñòè. ×òîáû ñïðàâèòüñÿ ñ ýòèìè âûçîâàìè, NASA àêòèâíî ðàáîòàåò íàä òåõíîëîãèÿìè, ñïîñîáíûìè çàìåòíî ïîâûñèòü àýðîäèíàìè÷åñêóþ ýôôåêòèâíîñòü ñàìîëåòîâ. Îäíèì èç ñàìûõ ïåðñïåêòèâíûõ íàïðàâëåíèé ñòàëî ñîçäàíèå ñïåöèàëüíîé êîíñòðóêöèè êðûëà, êîòîðàÿ ìàêñèìèçèðóåò åñòåñòâåííûé ëàìèíàðíûé ïîòîê âîçäóõà è ìèíèìèçèðóåò ñîïðîòèâëåíèå.
 ÿíâàðå 2026 ãîäà ñïåöèàëèñòû NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center óñïåøíî ïðîâåëè âàæíûé ýòàï íàçåìíûõ èñïûòàíèé êîíöåïöèè Crossflow Attenuated Natural Laminar Flow (CATNLF). Ó÷åíûå Ïåíñèëüâàíñêîãî óíèâåðñèòåòà èç ÑØÀ âûÿñíèëè, íàñêîëüêî ñèëüíî îòëè÷àþòñÿ äðóã îò äðóãà öèðêàäíûå ðèòìû ìóæ÷èí è æåíùèí.
Ïðåäûäóùèå èññëåäîâàíèÿ ïîêàçàëè, ÷òî ëþäè è æèâîòíûå èìåþò áîëåå îäíîãî âèäà "ôèçè÷åñêîãî" ðèòìà.  äîïîëíåíèå ê öèðêàäíîìó ðèòìó, êîòîðûé ðåãóëèðóåò ñîí è áîäðñòâîâàíèå, ó ëþäåé åñòü âíóòðåííèå öèêëû, êîòîðûå îòâå÷àþò çà äûõàíèå, îáíîâëåíèå êîæè è ÷àñòîòó ñåðäå÷íûõ ñîêðàùåíèé è ò. ä. Èç âñåãî ýòîãî íàáîðà öèðêàäíûé ðèòì ñàìûé èçâåñòíûé. Äåëî â òîì, ÷òî îí îêàçûâàåò çàìåòíîå âëèÿíèå íà íàøó ïîâñåäíåâíóþ æèçíü, êîíòðîëèðóåò, êîãäà ìû ëîæèìñÿ ñïàòü è êîãäà ïðîñûïàåìñÿ. Îí òàêæå âëèÿåò íà îáìåí âåùåñòâ è ñêîðîñòü, ñ êîòîðîé ìû óñòàåì.
Øîí Àíäåðñîí è Ãàððåò Ôèòöäæåðàëüä ñòðåìèëèñü óçíàòü áîëüøå î öèðêàäíîì ðèòìå, ïîýòîìó îíè ïðîàíàëèçèðîâàëè ìíîæåñòâî èññëåäîâàíèé. Ó÷åíûå èçó÷èëè ðàáîòû, â êîòîðûõ ïðèíÿëî ó÷àñòèå áîëåå 53 000 ÷åëîâåê, èìåííî òàê îíè îáíàðóæèëè, ÷òî âîçðàñò è ïîë âëèÿþò íà ÷àñû îðãàíèçìà.
Èññëåäîâàòåëè çàìåòèëè, ÷òî æåíùèíû, êàê ïðàâèëî, ÿâëÿþòñÿ "óòðåííèìè ëþäüìè", â òî âðåìÿ êàê ìóæ÷èíû - "íî÷íûìè". Îíè òàêæå îáíàðóæèëè, ÷òî æåíùèíû áîëåå àêòèâíû â òå÷åíèå äíÿ, ÷òî òàêæå õàðàêòåðíî äëÿ äåòåé, íî íî÷üþ îíè ìåíåå ýíåðãè÷íû, ÷åì ìóæ÷èíû. Èíòåðåñíî, ÷òî ñïÿò æåíùèíû òàêæå áîëüøå, ÷åì ïðîòèâîïîëîæíûé ïîë, à áîëüøàÿ ÷àñòü èõ ñíà ñîñòîèò èç ìåäëåííîé ôàçû. Äëÿ ìóæ÷èí æå áûë áîëåå õàðàêòåðåí ïîñëåîáåäåííûé ñîí.
Èññëåäîâàòåëè ñ÷èòàþò, ÷òî ýòî ñâÿçàíî ñ ìàòåðèíñêîé ðîëüþ, êîòîðóþ òðàäèöèîííî èãðàëè æåíùèíû, âåäü äëÿ ìàòåðåé åñòåñòâåííî èìåòü îäèíàêîâûé öèðêàäíûé ðèòì ñî ñâîèì ïîòîìñòâîì.
